we have had a quiet few weeks, sorry for the lack of posts. it seems like the big events have been trying new foods and getting into trouble. he's started to eat avocados, applesauce, cheerios, puffs, yogurt, carrots and green beans. he likes everything but the green beans, but LOVES yogurt (which sadly makes his tummy hurt in large quantities-found that out the hard way), applesauce, and avocados.
elijah is closer than ever to crawling, and every day i think he can't get any closer to crawling without actually doing it, and then he does. he scoots and rolls in every direction and lunges forward without any form of caution. he even has to move up to the next nursery class at church.
as for the trouble, he seems to be attracted to it like a magnet. he will roll off anything, find the one dirty place and put his face on it, lick grocery carts-yuck!(he actually moves the lovely cart cover a friend gave us to get to the plastic), grab at maggie (she is not a fan), pee pee fountain when getting a bath, bonk his head on everything, and my very favorite, go after electric cords like they are the coolest new toy ever. i have to stop myself from screaming "NO!!!" in panic mom voice like 20 times a day. just trying to stay calm and keep him safe and relatively germ free.
