so it's been a long time-oops! recap of our last two months--christmas was wonderful. lots of quality time in florida visiting family, a LOT of cooking, eating, and eli getting spoiled rotten. new year's eve was quiet (baby asleep at 9). christof and i watched a movie which ended at 12:30 (oops!) so we said, "happy new year!" and went to sleep like the old people we now are.
january has been pretty laid back, but plenty busy in the "what can eli do now" realm. he can crawl (everywhere). good thing christof baby-proofed while we went to jacksonville early. he can pull up (on everything) and is learning to fall on his bottom (not face or back of head) becuase of all the moving around. last but not least, he is getting his first tooth (yippy! for the tooth, boo! for the fussy little guy). also, becuase of the aforementioned spoiling, elijah thinks someone needs to be with in 2 feet of him all-the-time, but not holding him, of course (this would impede the crawling and pulling up). and to be honest, it probably is really just to dangerous to not be within arm's reach for any length of time, who knows what he'll get himself into.
