18 months

we were told by a nurse who had a micro-preemie herself, "not to worry, things will get better in a year....and a half." well, 18months later and she was right.  there are no specialists, no breathing equipment, and no medicines.  elijah is a healthy, developmentally fine toddler-who finally toddles!  that's right folks, we have a walker!  we could not be more thankful or excited.  here are the stats from his 18 check-up:
birth: weight 1lb 5oz                                 18months: weight 23lb 14oz (25%)
        length 11.75in                                                   length  30.5in (10%)
