everyone took a turn being sick last week; we were some sad puppies. eli still has a little touch of it, but the end is in sight!! so, we had a pretty uneventful week. moved a few check-ups to next week, bible study got canceled on account of snow and ice (yes it was snowing earlier this week and today is 65 and sunny-austin is crazy), and we skipped mops (moms of preschoolers) so as not to expose anyone else to the lovely sickness that stormed hammland. grandma henry went home on friday :(. we were all sad to see her go back to florida.
other than the past week of sickness, february proved to be fairly busy. eli and i are in a new playgroup, which we are very excited about -the very least of the reasons being that he takes great naps after playgroup :). several families in our church have had babies recently, so we took a few of them meals (which really means we tried to sneak a peek at new cutie-patooties). i have joined a women's bible study. also, the hamms are officially joining the church we have been attending for 3 years; it was about time. christof and i spent a saturday morning at an adoption conference trying to figure out some of the logistics to adding more kiddos to our family. we are still thinking and praying about the hows and whens, but i'll keep you posted as we move along. eli is now working on tooth number 3! he LOVES cheese and opening and closing things.
