eli is fast. really fast. he is so fast that he grabbed the hose that was watering the plants (while i was standing there), and made a mud puddle to play in. i could feel annoyance setting in, so i just took the hose and sprayed him. we both had a big laugh. then i rescued the glasses (an arm bends at least once a day and i thought sliding in the mud might be too much for them). the mud puddle got larger as i went inside for the camera. what a fun, spontaneous afternoon game.
