so in the two weeks since the last entry, some fun things happened.
1) aunt heather and uncle cameron came to visit! it was their first time to meet the little guy. we had such a great time hanging out and eating :). thanks so much you two for coming all the way out here and for being so patient when everything happened on baby time (a little slower than normal, and whenever it was best for eli).
2) christof and i got to go on an honest to goodness date for the first time in a few months (basically since my mom left). we saw spring awakening which is a amazing musical that won the tony for best musical of 2007. it happened to be in austin, which was fantastic, because we actually had tickets to go see it in huston that we didn't get to use because i went into the hospital on bed rest last january. i loved it, but it is definitely more in the vein of rent than say beauty and the beast. not for everyone. it was powerful and made my heart ache for teenagers and their crazy lives. after the musical we went to the cheesecake factory for appetizers and cheesecake (of course). thank you thank you thank you to karen (and her girls), a friend of chritof's from work, who volunteered to watch elijah while we played.
