trouble

it seems like our little man has been getting into everything (more and more, but this morning in particular).  while eating his morning bananas and cereal, he decides to reach back, grab the serving tray, and it makes a huge crash onto the napkin holder, paper towel holder, and knife block (yikes!)! i took his hand and said "NO!".  he proceeded to do it two more times, once, the knife block fell over and the knives slid halfway out.  i, of course, looked him in the eyes and repeated my reprimand and then scooted him farther away.  what did i get in response?  a crying baby?  a pouty face?  no- i got a huge smile and laugh-ahhhg!  he thinks my serious 'you are in trouble' face is...funny?!  what's a mom to do? oh well, i got hi rinsed off and into the tub (sink) and got him all nice and clean. then as he's getting dried off, he decides to roll over and scoot himself off the edge of the counter all in one swift motion.  he was smart enough to try to grab something to hold onto, but it was the paper towel holder, some good that did him, it just slid right along.  the camera was right there, so i grabbed his bottom and then took a photo.  so for all you grandparents and great grandparents who think elijah is the sweetest thing in the world, have i got news for you.
