it was a very busy sunday afternoon, as we spent it at the petting zoo. elijah loved the animals, but was not too sure about them nibbling on him. thankfully we and our clothes escaped unscathed (it was a close call with all those goats)! the zoo was at the austin rodeo, but we mostly went for the petting because the little guy would not make it through a longer event. we even tried to watch a cow milking, but the farmer just kept talking and talking and eli had had too much sitting still. over all it was a little pricey just to visit the animals and i think a little traumatic for those poor animals with all the screaming, running children. fun experience, not sure we would do it again.
