toys, games, signs, and teeth

did you know that my mommy and daddy are the best?  they have purchased very large toys for me, that i recently have discovered, and placed them conveniently in the family room and kitchen!  for some reason my favorite dog maggie gets very nervous whenever i get near the one they call "maggie's box"; she even gets nervous when i play with the "dishwasher" (i think it's because mommy and daddy yell at her when she tries to lick the small toys - aka dishes and utensils).  also, while i have thought it was ridiculously amusing when mommy, or daddy, or one of my doting grandparents played peek-a-boo with me for quite some time, i have recently decided to play all by myself-boy do they get a kick out of that.

in addition to entertaining my parents with silly games, i have decided to impress them with my knowledge of common words and have started to sign back to them.  i figured it was time to let them know i am not ignoring them (i just like to suprise them), and they can quit repeating the sings for milk and water over and over again.  however, this seems to have backfired and now they are learning new signs to show me over and over.

i have been a crankypants little guy recently because i am currently cutting teeth numbers 4,5,and 6.  it really does hurt quite a bit to have teeth coming out of your gums.  on the plus side, now i get to have more kinds of real food (like the kind that i can pick up and eat by myself-not the liquid stuff for babies) because i can chew, chew, chew (it is like mom and dad think i need some reminder not to choke or something).

that's all for now
