eli is turning into our social butterfly. everyday we see more and more of his personality. he LOVES being around people, watching/playing with other kids, and in general, chaos. this week he started crying crocodile tears twice. once when our playgroup ended and my friends and their kiddos left our house. (playgroup is a crazy time filled with screaming, running munchkins playing with his toys, but is that what he minds? no, he cares that they leave and he is left with boring old mommy.) he put his head between his knees and cried for ten minutes straight. the other time was when i picked him up from the church nursery. all he wanted was to go back in the room and play with the toys and kids. not even the promise of lunch would dissuade him.
however, he is still a little boy who needs two naps daily or he turns into oscar the grouch. so in general, with naps, he is a sweet little guy who loves to play, talk (all 15 of his words- nonstop), and be silly, but miss a nap and boy-o-boy will you be sorry! photographic evidence of our post lunch melt-down today when someone decided he did not need a morning nap:
