"i can do all things through christ who strengthens me."  this came out last night at bath time as we were talking about what he did at church.  unprompted, he told us about david and goliath and then said this philippians verse. what a great verse to be his first, we pray that he'll remember it and use it in his life.  we have been talking about this verse all month, but wanted him to memorize his bible verses without cajoling or bribing.  mission accomplished!  just in time for october, and a new verse :)
